Overview
Grief is not a problem to solve; it is a process to move through. Whether you or your child is grieving the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, a lost pet, or the loss of health, safety, or a sense of self — we walk alongside you.
Grief in children
Kids grieve in bursts. One moment they are heartbroken; the next they are playing. This is normal. What they need most is honest language for what happened, permission to feel whatever they feel, and consistent, attuned adults. Play, art, and storytelling become the vocabulary they use to say what words cannot.
Grief in adults
Adult grief can look like sadness, but it also shows up as exhaustion, irritability, physical pain, brain fog, or numbness. There is no single “right” timeline. We integrate evidence-based approaches with a deeply relational stance so you can feel accompanied as you move at your own pace.
Complicated and traumatic loss
Some losses — sudden, violent, or ambiguous — can feel impossible to metabolize. We are trained in trauma-informed grief care and, when appropriate, incorporate specialized modalities to help clients gently process what happened and begin to reweave a life that honors the person or thing that was lost.
