Dr. Richard is the founder and Clinical Director of South Florida Counseling and Assessment and a licensed psychotherapist with over 15 years of experience. He specializes in the treatment of individuals across the life span, couples, and families experiencing a wide range of difficulties. His warm, passionate, friendly, and patient approach is aimed at developing a therapeutic alliance with his clients that will inspire hope, help them recognize their strengths and to develop the insight and skills to navigate life's challenges.

Dr. Cox is a Licensed Psychologist with over 30 years of experience in the general private practice of psychology. Her kind, insightful and compassionate approach has contributed to her success as a therapist and made her a favorite among her supervisees. Her extensive therapeutic experience encompasses work with individuals, families, and couples, and her approach is described as collaborative and grounded in research-based techniques and theory. She is a skilled therapist who is able to assist clients in achieving profound change.

Dr. Katrina Verdon is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with over 16 years of clinical experience. Her strength-based approach and unconditional positive regard for clients creates a nurturing and safe environment for clients to regain hope, improve their mental health, and develop the skills to achieve meaningful and fulfilling change.

Alexander Iribar is a Licensure Candidate in the field of Mental Health Counseling with experience providing counseling services within both individual and group settings. Throughout his career, he has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, from those facing common challenges such as anxiety, depression, and life stressors, to individuals grappling with more complex diagnoses like bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and developmental impairments. His specialization lies in offering therapeutic support to individuals across the entire lifespan ranging from children and adolescents to older adults.

Della, a dedicated Mental Health Counseling Licensure candidate, brings a robust background in clinical research and evidence-based approaches to our practice. Her expertise extends across the lifespan, making her adept at working with individuals of all ages. Clients can anticipate an environment that is not only professional but also warm and inviting when working with Della. Recognizing the profound impact of individual differences and family/cultural factors, Della approaches each client as a unique individual. Her commitment to personalized care is reflected in the integration of diverse therapeutic approaches and modalities. This tailored approach ensures that clients receive support aligned with their specific needs and aspirations, fostering a collaborative journey towards holistic well-being.

Clarisa is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in psychological evaluations, including immigration, psychoeducational, neurocognitive, memory, autism, ADHD, and mood disorder assessments. She holds a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida (UCF) and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) at Albizu University, having begun the program in 2024.
